ELIGIBILITY

This tournament is open to any wrestler enrolled in a public or private school in the state of Indiana, 5th - 8th grade.  Athletes in a home school program must provide verification. The athlete must be under the age of 16 before January 22, 2024.

TOP 8 IN EACH WEIGHT CLASS OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SUNDAY 2/4/24 AT CENTER GROVE HIGH SCHOOL.

USA Wrestling Competitor Cards

●      Each wrestler must have a valid USAW Card

●      USAW cards will not be sold on site

●      Cards may be purchased at: www.usawmembership.com

●      If you purchase online and do not receive your actual card before tournament, bring Card # and SportsEngine receipt

●     SCRATCH WEIGHTS WILL BE USED AND ENFORCED!!!

●     YOU CAN MOVE UP IF YOU MISS WEIGHT. 

●     IF YOU QUALIFY, YOU MUST WRESTLE IN THE SAME WEIGHT CLASS AND MAKE SCRATCH WEIGHT NEXT WEEK IN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS

●      NFHSA Rules will apply

●      Matches will consist of three periods: 1:00 – 1:30 – 1:30 min

Awards

●     Top 4 in each weight class qualify for the State Championship Tournament on Sunday 2/4/24 at Center Grove High School. Girls must qualify to wrestle in the boys division, but are not required to qualify for the girls championship. The Championship Tournament will be seeded according to USA Wrestling PIN Rankings.

●     Top 4 placers are NOT eligible to compete in another qualifier.

●     Athletes who place 5th and below may compete in another qualifier.
